The hike from Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park to the Merced Pass Trail offers stunning views and diverse terrain. Starting at Glacier Point, I enjoyed breathtaking panoramic views of Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, and the High Sierra. The trail then descended into lush forests and crossed several streams as I headed down the Theodore Solomons Trail towards the Merced Pass Trail. Along the way, I hiked passed Illilouette Creek, where I found the perfect riverfront camping spot to set up camp for the night along the shores of illilouette creek. Camping by the creek allowed me to enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by nature, with the soothing sounds of the water nearby. The overall hike is moderately challenging, offering both scenic beauty and a rewarding wilderness experience. Enjoy the adventure ;)
