We did this 5.5-mile out-and-back trail near Apache Junction, Arizona. Generally considered a challenging route. Since this is a highly popular hiking destination, you will probably run into other hikers while exploring. The months of September through June are the greatest for hiking this trek. Quick report is it gets continuously more and more challenging as you go but the view from the top (and the feeling of accomplishment) is worth it. It is worth repeating that doing this entire hike is VERY difficult. Lots of loose rock around to be mindful of, but currently not much water around to slip on. Bring enough water and snacks and that will also help you to have strength and needed every drop to stay hydrated throughout entire hike. Everyone who gives the advice to stay to the left is totally correct so make sure you stay to the left on the way up and you can stay on the right on the way down . I would highly recommend hiking boots and climbing gloves. You can bring sunscreen if you hike during the sun season. Take your time and watch out for the rocks around you so you don’t get injured. I hope you enjoy the video comment below if you have done this trail and how was your experience. Please don’t forget to subscribe, like, comment below if you have any questions about the hike.
