Description: The Powwow Trail is a 'loop on a stick' trail of approximately 30 miles. The 'stick' is a 2.7-mile out and back to the 'loop' section of the trail from the trailhead. The Trailhead is BWCA Entry Point #86.
This video begins at the Isabella River crossing and concludes at the BWCA Entry Point #86 Trailhead. BWCA Campsite #1927 is on your right, just after you cross the river. You exit the Boundary Waters (signed) about a half-mile before reaching the trailhead. Distance from the river to the trailhead is about 1.0-miles. The video for this hike was recorded on May 25-26, 2024. The Powwow Trail is located in the BWCA.
