Welcome to Day 11 of our road trip around Corsica! Today, we venture deep into the Corsican backcountry and explore the stunning mountain chains at the heart of the island.
First, we’ll hike to the famous Trou de la Bombe (Bomba’s Hole), a natural rock formation carved by the elements over thousands of years. This relatively short trail is surrounded by breathtaking views of Corsica’s rugged peaks and lush forests—a must for nature lovers!
After the hike, we’ll enjoy a well-deserved lunch with a panoramic view before heading to the Solenzara Valley. Here, we’ll unwind in its crystal-clear natural pools, the perfect spot for a refreshing dip.
As we wrap up the day, a quick stop at the beach was a must before heading back to our beautiful guesthouse. And this time, we’re treating ourselves to some relaxation in the jacuzzi—an ideal way to end the day.
