I am not sure what genre of music I would say The Temptations are. I don't really know what Motown sounds like but that is what I feel like this would be. I love the soulful singing that was in My Girl. You can definitely see and hear that The Temptations are from the 50s yet they are completely different from the other 50s music I have been reacting to recently. The whole vibe of My Girl is clearly just a feel good song that puts you in a positive mood whenever you hear it. I honestly don't know how anyone can hate on this kind of music.
