Huge caveat here. I didn't say "most underrated generals" (even thought it's more clickbaity) because this is obviously very opinion based. But more importantly I am limited by my realm of knowledge. I am sure there are also generals in the Middle East, Asia and elsewhere but my knowledge there is much weaker.
