It's time to do a post-split hive checkup on our newly formed colonies to ensure they're growing healthy and strong. We're now about 16 days past the date of our hive split (see video here: https://youtu.be/5-UMbEkxBuQ). This hive split checkup will ensure that the bees have enough resources, and that the queen is settling into the split nicely.
It's important to do a post-split inspection for the safety and future of your split bee colonies. There's always a chance that something can go wrong in the process of splitting and moving the newly formed colony, so do a checkup around 2 weeks after you make the split.
