HO Scale Model Train Straight Hand Built Tracks Jigs & Tools

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

This is the shorter version with my comments. The ASMR version full length of the track build is here: https://youtu.be/VhGnByLncTc Get the STLs here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/ho-scale-model-train-straight-hand-built-tracks-jigs-tools I'm a N scale modeler 1:160 but always wanted to mess around with the larger HO scale 1:87. Seemed the proper place to start was the same way to start to hand build tracks: Straight Tracks. I can design any track, I only require the motivation. If you encourage more HO - then more may just come! I can modify my N scale cars to HO if interested. You can see many more of them in my videos than I list for sale - is more fun to design them than list them! This is a four piece jig for 36" full length rails. It still fits onto a 25cm 3D printer bed. You can print all four at once. They attach with a pair of 4cm M2 bolts and lock nuts. Since I have 18" rails I only used two of the jigs. The jigs are slightly shorter than the rails to allow a clean end. Included is my PCB board Cutting and Gapping Tool which allows easy and accurate filing of the isolation gaps preventing a dead short between the two rails. The same tool is used for Straight and Curved tracks. I use a set of printed clamps and blocks to secure the rails in the jig for soldering, which are included and the storage box for the clamps and blocks. Also the tie beds in a few lengths with and without the wire holes for feeder wires under the rails.
