Amateur film footage from camping holidays in Devon.
The location of the camp site appears to be close to Bantham, South Devon, with views over the river Avon. There are shots from Bantham Beach, Burgh Island, Dartmoor, a drag-line mining crane, a visit to a miniature village (Babbacombe?) and Abbey Park Gardens in Torquay. Horse riding and walking in the snow are shown.
There is also the family car, an "Austin A90 Atlantic" convertible, built presumably around 1950. (1948-1952, less than 7500 have been manufactured)
The film has been recorded in 1955 and summer and winter 1956 (A cold! winter with snow even in Devon) also spring 1967.
The Kodachrome film stock is marked with the "year-symbols" for 1955 and 1956.
The Background soundtrack is from the Seeburg library
