This week on Sunday Brunch, we were invited to the beautiful home of actress Malavika Mohanan in Andheri, Mumbai. Born in Kerala but raised in Mumbai, Malavika embodies the perfect blend of two worlds—Bollywood and the South film industry—and she welcomed us with a delicious Malayali feast that reflected her roots!
The spread was a true Kerala delight, featuring:

Every bite of the meal felt like a journey to Kerala, bursting with authentic flavors that made us travel to Kerala. Adding to the experience was her home’s warm, traditional Kerala decor, with intricate wooden carvings and touches of heritage that made us feel truly connected to her roots. Over this delectable feast, Malavika shared her inspiring journey, balancing a thriving Bollywood and South film career, staying deeply rooted in her culture, and beautifully embracing the best of both worlds.
