These are exercises 5 – 10. These can be completed four weeks post-surgery. Do 10 repetitions of each exercise.
Exercise 5
Bend your elbow, take your arm out to the side and down, out to the side and down.
This exercise can be made harder when you feel more comfortable by straightening your arm.
Exercise 6
Reach your hand behind your back then back to your side. Reach your hand behind your back then back to your side.
Exercise 7
Hands behind head, elbows backwards, then bring them forwards. Elbows backwards, then bring them forwards.
Exercise 8
Reach your hand across to your opposite shoulder and then down to your side. Reach across and down.
Exercise 9
Clasp your hands together. Reach your arms above your head as far as you are comfortable and down. Reach your hands up and down.
Exercise 10
Involves walking your fingers up the wall. Walk your fingers up the wall as far as you feel comfortable and down again. Walk your fingers up and down.
