Today Justine is introducing this dish which north Malaysians call Hokkien mee but in Kuala Lumpur is known as Prawn mee. This dish can be found in any kopitiam, food court and even restaurants that sells local or Penang specialties. Prawn mee is very popular and it smells and taste delicious! We will be cooking a homemade style prawn mee soup and also a dry version. Wishing everyone a happy new year full of joy and laughter 😆😆

材料 Ingredients (8人份/ 8pax)
汤料Soup
2kg虾壳 2kg prawn shells
2块猪骨2pieces of pork bone
100g虾米100g Dried shrimps
半粒蒜米 Half garlic
1块沙葛1 Sengkuang (jicama)
1汤匙冰糖和盐1tbsp rock sugar and salt
少许味精Pinch of MSG
1碗小葱头One small bowl of shallots (garnish)

(100g辣椒干100g dried chilli,5粒小葱头5 shallots,5粒蒜瓣5 garlic cloves)
1-2茶匙糖1-2tsp sugar

一点虾Some prawns
