Homemade Body Armor (Soft Armor)
We wanted to make homemade soft body armor with materials you can get from your local hardware store. We discuss the construction of the body armor and will then test it against the NIJ Standards. We test the armor up against a ballistic clay box to test not only pass throughs but also back face deformation.
