Make up the shortcrust pastry.
Blind bake in a 10” flan / quiche tin for 20 mins at 180c / 356f / gas 4.
Then remove from the oven, egg wash the bottom and bake for a further 7 - 10 mins.
Filling
Lightly fry the onion over a low heat until soft.
Mix the eggs, milk and cream together and combine.
Salt and pepper to taste.
