When you’re living paycheck to paycheck, wishing you had more money, wishing you didn’t have to work so many hours at your job, wondering if your luck would ever change… I’VE BEEN THERE. Come along with me while I do some homemaking, cook some good, budget-friendly food, and share some encouragement when MONEY IS TIGHT.
In this video, I will be:
1. cleaning my kitchen
2. Hanging up laundry
3. COOK WITH ME: Making tuna melts (yum!)
4. Showing you glimpses of my budget homeschool (handwritten curriculum and mud pies)
5. BAKE WITH ME: Pennsylvania Dutch cookbook from the 1980s: kaffee kuchen (coffee cake, but more like a bread which I twisted into a pan sort of like monkey bread)
I also talk about my back story when it comes to finances and frugal living.
What are some tips I share today?
- You will spend money on what’s important to you, and if you don’t know what that is, you will soon find out and you may not like it (ex. Coffee, subscriptions)
- Cooking from scratch starts with one recipe, then another, then another
- You can make frugality LOOK COOL (“Guess how much I spent on this”)
- Live like no one else so that someday, you can live like no one else
I wouldn’t be anywhere without my Faith and I am so thankful for these opportunities to grow stronger and wiser.
These are all simple things! I didn’t reinvent the wheel! I hope this encouraged you today. Like and subscribe!
