Bruce Cabot is a cop who is out to stop some gangsters who are preying on junk dealers. The citizens are outraged by Cabot s tactics and protect the ex-convicts he leans on for information. Cabot finally tracks down the crooks just before they are to ship a heap of scrap metal to help an unnamed foreign power s war effort.
