This is how to take apart a frozen master cylinder found on many mid 70's Honda CB Motorcycles with disc brake. It may seem like a big undertaking when you look into your Master Cylinder and see the old brake fluid dry as a bone but more often than not it can be rebuilt. The hydraulic brake system is the largest safety system on your vintage motorcycle and whether you are going for a cafe racer, scrambler, or restoration on it you need to properly fix or replace the master cylinder for a safe and well-performing brake system.
Models include: 1973 CB350G, 1973 - 1976 CB360T, CB400F, CB450 K3 - K7, CB500T, CB500 K1, CB550, CB750.
