Both wheels are a great beginner wheels, or a second wheel for teaching on! However if I’m teaching, I like the fact that the legs extend on the first wheel, so it doesn’t sit so low! Even though I like to stand when I throw, I think sitting is way easier for a beginner!
As far as the mechanical side of things, I have no clue both wheels are are a bit noisy, however this doesn’t bother me!
The pieces I made in this video actually turned out great and you will see them in future kiln unloading videos!
