Hi everyone, today we have one of my favorite recipes: HONEY TORRIJAS, a typical Lent recipe although I make them all year round 😉 a very easy and quick recipe to make, juicy and with a delicious flavor 😋 I encourage you to make them, you will see how delicious they turn out 😋 you will love them!! 👌🏼

👇🏼 In my case I have used these ingredients:👩🏼🍳
- 12 slices of special bread for torrijas (you can use bread from the day before)🥖
- 400 ml. approx. of milk (in my case semi-skimmed)
- 200 ml. approx. of fine wine
- 200 ml. approx. of sweet muscatel wine (I use Dorado Dulce)
- 8 tablespoons of sugar
- 4 size L eggs
- mild olive oil or sunflower oil enough for frying
- the peel of an orange (optional)
- the peel of a lemon (optional)
- approx. 750 ml of honey (the amount will depend on your taste)
- approx. 50 ml of water
