Reviewing the Honor Magic 7 Pro, one of the best camera phones in 2025 boasting Snapdragon 8 Elite gaming performance. Despite a controversial UK battery situation, plus Magic OS shindiggery, the Honor Magic 7 Pro is still easy enough to recommend. But is it as good as the OnePlus 13 and other fresh flagship smartphones?
The software side of this phone isn't as good as OxygenOS, although it's certainly come a long way since earlier versions. You've got some respectable AI features packed into the Magic 7 Pro, if not quite as good as Google or Samsung's efforts. Plus a gaming mode when you get your Genshin on.
It's the camera tech where the Honor Magic 7 Pro excels. That zoom lens can capture some sharp and beautiful portrait and action shots from a distance, while the video capture also impresses.
Likewise, the Honor Magic 7 Pro is fantastic for gamers. Wuthering Waves and other intensive titles play with a fluid frame rate, even on higher visual settings. Battery life is good too, even if we get a smaller capacity cell here in the EU and UK.
So that's what I think of the Honor Magic 7 Pro. What do you think, tempted? Check out my review of the OnePlus 13 and the other best Android phones of 2025 for more ideas!
