Determined to be with the woman he loved, Robert knew he had to act boldly. His family's objections were strong, but nothing would stop him from making Hope happy. He set out on a mission to find her and rescue her from a loveless marriage.
With the help of Annabella, the daughter of the town's modiste, they set out on a dangerous journey to find each other and build a life together. But society's strict rules and their families' disapproval make their journey difficult, and the daily stakes grow higher.
