This is a YouTube channel that uploads videos about kimonos from Ginza Kimono Tyroir, a kimono shop in Ginza, Tokyo that sells recycled and new kimonos and obi.
This YouTube channel will be different from other YouTube channels, with content about kimonos and kimono shops, from the dark secrets that only professionals know to product trivia.
Please look forward to it.
The shop is located on the 4th floor of Exit Melsa in Ginza 5-chome.
It is a tax-free shop.
"Owner's self-introduction"
I've been in the kimono industry for 42 years.
I am a "kimono-loving old man" who wears kimonos more than 300 days a year.
I have visited kimono production areas all over Japan, met artisans and artists, and seen the production sites.
Both the people in the production areas and we in the retail industry feel a sense of crisis that if things continue like this, the real thing will disappear. There is also a problem with the way kimonos are sold. There are also questions about the display of product prices and values.
I think I have talked about that on this channel.
I run this channel with the desire to increase the number of people who smile when wearing kimonos.
[About the products]
All recycled kimonos and obi are antibacterial, deodorized, and fully washed, and are in good condition. Although they are recycled, they are 5 to 10 years old, and many of them are unused, and are reputed to be so clean that they can be mistaken for new. There are many large items, and the selection is different from that of general recycled kimono stores.
Most kimonos and obi are priced between 30,000 and 80,000 yen.
The selection of new products is comparable to that of long-established kimono stores in Ginza. We offer high-quality products from top manufacturers such as Dye No. 5, Kyo Yuzen Seiken and Tachibana at reasonable prices. In addition, there are many products and brands that are only available at our store in Ginza. We also carry products from long-established yukata manufacturers such as Chikusen, Sansho, and Todaya Risen Dye.
Accessories are mainly products from famous manufacturers such as Erihide, Sakura, and Nihonbashi Yamazaki.
In addition, full cleaning and cleaning is also very affordable, starting at 2,800 yen + tax.
Please do visit our store.
