The field of hospital medicine encompasses the care of patients with acute illness, across all medical specialties. Bradley Monash, MD, and Bradley Sharpe, MD, both award-winning clinician-educators and program leaders in the Division of Hospital Medicine at UCSF Health, will describe recent evidence-based changes in treating hospitalized patients and discuss the challenges in keeping up-to-date on the current literature.
