Hot Fuzz (2007) is a British action-comedy directed by Edgar Wright, part of the Cornetto Trilogy. The film follows Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg), a highly skilled London cop who is transferred to the seemingly boring village of Sandford. There, he partners with the bumbling yet well-meaning Danny Butterman (Nick Frost) to investigate a series of suspicious accidents that have occurred in the town. As they dig deeper, they uncover a dark conspiracy involving the local Neighborhood Watch Alliance , leading to over-the-top action sequences and comedic chaos (and great action movie references).
