Crockpot Marinara Chicken Sandwiches
- Add in about 1lb of chicken breasts
- 1/2 tsp each of salt and pepper-
- 1 tsp of onion powder
- 1 tsp of Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 TBSP minced garlic
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- Cook on low until chicken is cooked through
- Shred chicken
- Add in a 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese on top
- Split open buns and butter them on each side + add in some garlic powder then put in the oven at 400 degrees, until they are toasted
- When the buns are toasted, put the chicken/Marinara sauce on the buns + add in a slice of mozzarella cheese
- Put back in the oven until the cheese melts
