Home (Sappasiri Chaovanich) is an avid plant collector and trader for the last 40 years out of Bangkok, Thailand. He is also the organizer for Bangkok International Exotic Plant Show and Sale, which serves as an engine for the international exotic plant market. His work impacts millions in ways that is impossible to quantify. In this episode, I proudly present his newly rennovated home that truly embodies the motto “Live With Plants”. This magnificent home is 20% living space and 80% garden, all enclosed within a building. The most prominent feature of this house is the shaded swimming pool, which is the perfect place to preview the magnificent “hanging” gardens above that comprise of rare and exotic plants collected from all over the world. The design of the house is also unique, with consideration of plant placement and display, light requirement, and also the connectivity of one room to another.
