This is the home of ceramic artist Yuji Murakami, his wife Miwa, and their two children. Miwa was attracted to the open riverside landscape, so they built this new house and moved from an old house deep in the forest. The first floor is Murakami's studio, and the living room is on the second floor with a beautiful view. The interior, richly plastered and made of solid wood, is filled with numerous ceramic works and artworks, blending in with the daily life of the house.
