In this lesson, I go over a concept that Bruce Forman taught me years ago: 4-note groups. This concept is simple: we take every minor third interval contained within a scale, and fill it in with chromatics. In addition to taking a look at the concept, I take a look at 4 examples of Bruce using these in his improvisations, and explain what he's doing. Hope you enjoy!
