SIEM REAP — From writing people’s stories to creating a charity foundation to help the young population of Siem Reap province, Victoria Miloschewsky and her team have provided opportunities for those, particularly in rural areas, wishing to pursue higher education. Born in Hong Kong and educated in Australia, Miloschewsky entered the field of Human Resources and decided to volunteer for community work in Cambodia. Seeing the gap in resources of many students in rural areas, she started PeopleStories, a charity foundation that has been funding scholarships for students in need wishing to pursue higher education. Moreover, PeopleStories has implemented mobile digital schools to assist students as they try to learn. During an interview conducted at the Rolous Secondary School in the Prasat Bakong district, Victoria Miloschewsky talked about the work she and her team do and what they hope the future will bring for the young people of rural Cambodia.
