The Pirates and Yankees played one of the greatest and wildest World Series of all time in 1960 that ended with Bill Mazeroski hitting a walk-off home run in game 7. The series also ended with Bobby Richardson becoming the only player to win World Series MVP while playing for the losing team. He would set the record with 12 rbis in the series and the biggest reason he won is votes had to be casted by the 8th inning of game 7. An award that probably should have gone to Mickey Mantle at that point or Whitey Ford.
