Age of Mythology is one of those games where the effort put into things like language is...uneven. It gives us an opportunity to talk about some interesting things when it comes to language, accents, and even the function of being understandable.

From what I can gather beyond the source, mostly the classes also mentioned and offhand things I've heard from people who have connection to Coptic communities, it's still likely that there are people speaking it or keeping it alive, but it's, again very small as a subset of the broader Coptic community.
I welcome anything people can find that discusses the matter further.
