A young woman, Ranjini, and her 17-day-old twin daughters were brutally murdered inside their home while her mother, Santhamma, had stepped out to collect documents from the Santhamma Panchayat Office. This heart-wrenching case remained unsolved for nearly two decades—until AI and advanced forensic techniques finally led the police to the killers. Ranjini was just 21 years old, living a simple life in Anchal, Kollam, when she fell in love with Divil Kumar, an army man stationed at the Pathankot Military Base, Punjab. Their relationship took a tragic turn when Ranjini became pregnant. Despite Divil's insistence on an abortion, she decided to keep the babies and sought legal support from the Kerala State Women’s Commission, demanding a DNA test to establish paternity. During her pregnancy, Ranjini was admitted to a hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, where she met Anil, a seemingly kind man who offered to help her and her mother. Unbeknownst to them, Anil was actually Rajesh, a close friend of Divil Kumar from the Pathankot army camp, sent to manipulate and deceive them. He arranged for Ranjini to move into a rented house in Kollam, isolating her from family and neighbors. On that fateful day in February 2006, as soon as Santhamma left for the panchayat office, Rajesh and Divil executed their sinister plan. They entered the house and mercilessly slit the throats of Ranjini and her newborn daughters before fleeing. When Santhamma returned, she was met with the most horrific scene of her life. For 19 years, this brutal crime remained a mystery, with the killers evading justice. However, in 2024, Kerala Police, using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and forensic facial reconstruction, matched an old wedding photograph of Rajesh to a suspect database, leading to his arrest in Karnataka. Soon after, Divil was also apprehended, finally bringing closure to this tragic case. Watch the full video to uncover the chilling details of this crime, the police investigation, and how technology helped solve one of Kerala’s most haunting cold cases. _________________________________________ Socials: Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/shrinkhal22/ Twitter : https://twitter.com/SRPAY_ Spotify : https://open.spotify.com/show/1LUSjgAKMPIRfhCtJvzWyw?si=249a08186a5d4d87 Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100082943036215 Whatsapp : https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029ValCXAv3bbV5IQ04Y819 My Gear - Mic Shure SM7B : https://amzn.to/3XFhFOS Camera Sony ZVE-10 : https://amzn.to/3kuCXAs PC - Processor : https://amzn.to/3wbRd3E Graphic Card : https://amzn.to/3XFi2Jg Mouse : https://amzn.to/3wdmCT5 Headphone : https://amzn.to/3HewsKY _____________________________________________________________________ For business enquiries email contact by mail - [email protected] #KeralaMurderCase #ColdCaseSolved #TrueCrime #CrimeInvestigation #AIForensics #KeralaCrime #RanjiniCase #DivilKumar #CrimeDocumentary #IndianCrimeStories #UnsolvedMysteries #JusticeForRanjini
