This morning, at the crack of dawn ULA launched the second flight of their Vulcan rocket, aiming to certify it to carry national security payloads so they can get to work. Unfortunately one of the solid rocket motors, Manufactured by Northrop-Grumman suffered a failure of the nozzle, however, far from ending the mission the booster continued while the guidance software did an amazing job of compensating for this 'observation'.
