When comparing Gojo with other powerful Shonen stories and trying to powerscale “the strongest”, you’ll realize pretty quickly that outside of Jujutsu Kaisen is a very scary place for Satoru Gojo when talking about power scaling. Obviously he doesn’t just get blasted away by absolutely anybody and there’s still some out there who can make up an even match up, like Demon Slayer or this Saibamen! When your verse is more consistently considered lightning timers at best while you're also dodging Mach 3 plus allegations, you gotta just thug it out. Having your “existence erasing” attack *cough* Hollow-Purple, not instantly erasing opponents on three occasions with one of them being Urame means there’s some serious problems. There’s nothing wrong with not being as strong in cross verse scenarios and it honestly could be its own video. But forget everything I’ve just said because Gojo is still heavily debated against characters who can blow up entire planets or even universes. I’ve even discussed Sasuke versus Gojo before for nearly 30 minutes, this fight shouldn’t even be close. After making that nightmare of a video, it’s very clear that the literal only reason he’s even mentioned in these discussions is because of his “Infinity”. When in doubt, argue they can’t bypass the Limitless and it’s GG. Watching your opponent start deep diving into calculus to explain that Goku won’t get bent over by Satoru Gojo will make you think they got hit with Unlimited-Void. With his Domain also being incredibly busted, you don’t have to worry because despite not having anything close to universal there’s still discussions about him beating Goku. This is because both his Infinity and Limitless overall are Hax abilities, meaning you can’t really apply this standard counter arguments against these powers. With Infinity fundamentally being rooted with real world mathematics at its core, it means there’s room to discuss if anybody can pass through Infinity. With this technique now being passively activated with an automatic targeting system, that means Gojo can piss without worrying about your attacks, yes your attacks, with your character, I’m talking about YOU. Now obviously if you’ve seen chapter 236 also known as the happiest day of Sukuna’s life, that generational trauma felt across the Gojo fandom stuck because obviously Infinity can’t protect him from absolutely anything. Understanding Infinity while also trying to avoid giving myself a migraine would be the best starting point. Gojo’s Limitless is spatial manipulation, both Blue and Red are enhanced versions of the base form known as the neutral Limitless or “Infinity”. Infinity is imaginary and not ordinarily possible, but he brings this concept into reality using the Limitless Cursed-Technique. Infinity is everywhere within space itself, but that’s also part of bringing this idea into his arsenal. In short, Gojo creates this seemingly infinite space between himself and his opponents. Within the finite space between himself and others there’s also this barrier containing Infinity. It’s not only stated within the fanbook but the anime also very clearly depicted the bubble or barrier before Toji sliced through Infinity. Gojo’s entire technique is not only powered by the Limitless but also controlled and executed through his Six-Eyes. It’s impossible to use the Limitless without these eyes, these eyes allow Gojo to control space down to the atomic level. The simplest way to explain Infinity would be that Gojo is just dividing space over and over again, but this is more complicated than you’d think. Gege Akutami who’s the author of Jujutsu Kaisen has mentioned before that he doesn’t even really understand this concept, we’ve seen an entire math lecture done where Akutami brought real world “special-Grade” mathematicians to attempt to explain Infinity. So while you might get lost, just trust me you’re not the only one.
