Japanese people often do 'oosouji' to clean their house for the New Year. I decided to clean my Japanese house like the Japanaese for a fresh start to the New Year. My house is an old Akiya or abandoned house and was really dirty when I first purchased it. It took a lot of cleaning to get it where it is today.
If you are new to the channel, my name is Chani and I am a middle aged Australian who was stuck in a rut and moved to Japan to live. I bought an Akiya or empty house and started renovating. I'd love it if you subscribed and joined the community.
