I used to procrastinate all the time – scrolling, overthinking, avoiding tasks until the last possible second. Sound familiar? The worst part was that I wanted to be productive, but I kept getting stuck in a cycle of putting things off and then feeling guilty about it. After a lot of trial and error, and committing to discipline, I finally figured out how to break free from procrastination. And I’m sharing the five biggest lessons that helped me stop avoiding tasks and start getting things done – without burning myself out. From understanding why we procrastinate (hint: it’s not just laziness) to learning how to prioritize, shift my self-talk and let go of perfectionism, these lessons completely changed the way I approach productivity.
