Great day on the water! Landed a 29.5," 14lb king just at the mouth of the Duwamish river. I started at 7 AM and got a fish to the boat in less than 20 minutes but it somehow shook free right at the net. About 5 hours later I managed to land this one! ----------------------------------------Gear-------------------------------------------- Rod: Ugly Stik 8'3" Downrigger Rod Reel: Diawa Saltist -- 200 series Main Line: 30# braid Shock/clip in line: 40' of 25 lb mono Flasher: Pro Troll E-Chip 11″ Flasher w/Agitator Fin Green Glow Spoon: Silver Horde Kingfisher Lite Spoon (3.5" "Cookies and cream" color) Downrigger: Scotty Laketroller Downrigger line: PowerPro Spectra Downrigger Cable Replacement (300'/200lb) Downrigger weight: 4lb Cannon Downrigger Weight 0:00 Intro 0:21 "The Talk" 2:46 Gear and where to fish 4:21 Deploying the gear 6:03 Managing currents 6:33 Adding action to the lure 7:25 Catching Fish! #kingsalmon #salmon #seattle #washington #fishing #kayak #kayakfishing #gopro #uglystik #howto #fishingtechniques #pugetsound #orca #killerwhales
