This is a tutorial of how to knit one square of the cosy memories blanket. Written instructions for the square are shown below: I cast on 49 stitches on 2.75mm needles with 4ply yarn Knit 2 rows Row 3:K23, Centre double decrease from the wrong side (Slip 2 knitwise seperately, slip them back purlwise separately, then slip them both at the same time to the right needle purlwise from the back, purl next stitch and slip two slipped stitches over this one. You therefore decrease two stitches on this row), K23 Row 4: Knit row Repeat rows 3 and 4 until you have 1 stitch left on the needle. You will need to knit one less stitch before and after the centre double decrease on each repeat. So you will need to knit 22 stitches before and after the centre double decrease on the first repeat, 21 stitches on the second and so on.
