A few years ago, I made a video because I was curious what Miyamoto's Donkey Kong design would have looked like translated in the Donkey Kong Country style. Somehow this got 2 million views, so I decided to celebrate by giving a look at how I did it so that other people can do it too.
I tried to make this entertaining for people with no interest in actually following the tutorial, yet informative for people who want to make something.
It's half "How to..." and half "Why I..." because I think explaining why certain decisions were made can help people make their own decisions. I also reflect on certain mistakes that were made and fix them.
