On this snowy April 1st, I decided it's time to talk about tension. I want to show you one way I test my tension. Today I am using Sewtites Magnum magnets to load up a small quilt sandwich off to the side of my quilt. I can't just test off to the side because the creator of the quilt uses a self binding method and needs the excess to do her binding. I have also use the HQ Super Clamps before and really like how they work but I was short some space this time for those.
I also take you through the steps to bring up the bobbin thread after stitching and talk about why you need to make sure you are giving yourself enough space to keep that bobbin tail long.
