Last year, a poll conducted by Harris and Lego revealed that the number one dream job of kids 8-12 in China, was Astronaut. In the US and UK, it was YouTuber. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be a youtuber, but I think that survey unmasks an increasing obsession with fame in Western countries. Critics often warn of the impending narcissism the youth will display. One interesting notion was from Joji’s music videos. His music videos from 2020, may reveal a hidden message about fame and the celebrity.  Find me Here: YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/DesigningDonna Twitter: https://twitter.com/designingdonna Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/psychirl/ Main Sources: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v97FPN2US2o https://arstechnica.com/science/2019/07/american-kids-would-much-rather-be-youtubers-than-astronauts/ https://www.researchgate.net/publication/233667622_Being_a_Celebrity_A_Phenomenology_of_Fame https://www.cell.com/current-biology/pdf/S0960-9822(05)00093-X.pdf https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/432a/51ae6e67a9c7fdb7b97c4917da96bb3140cf.pdf CAMERA GEAR (Affiliate): Canon 90D: https://amzn.to/38VKEEV LENSES: Sigma 18-35mm F1.8: https://amzn.to/2vbLv5K Canon 18-135 F3.5-5.6: https://amzn.to/2SZiaot Canon 10-18 F4.5-5.6: https://amzn.to/2SUcv2U AUDIO: Sennheiser MKE2 Lavalier Pro Set: https://amzn.to/2Pl5hmo Shure VP83 LensHopper Mic: https://amzn.to/2HP0i9p
