Mahua wine is a traditional alcoholic beverage made from the flowers of the Mahua tree. The Baiga tribe, indigenous to central India, have been making this wine for generations. This paste is then left to ferment for several days, during which time the natural sugars in the flowers convert to alcohol. After fermentation, the wine is strained and ready to be consumed.
