Minimizing studs was child’s play. It’s now time to get serious. Buttons: all Lego games require pressing them, but just how many must you press to beat the best Lego game of them all? Arriving at a satisfactory answer was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life. And I spearheaded the Manhattan Project and developed Minecraft 2 from scratch in under two weeks, so you know it had to have been really hard.

Corrections so far: The Dagobah self-destruct B press indicator in the video is out of sync with the gameplay. Not a big deal but may be confusing to eagle-eyed viewers.
Some speedrunners have pointed out a handful of optimizations that can be made. The button total has been lowered by over six at this point. It will only continue to decrease with time.
