HOW MUCH is it to start silversmithing, metalsmithing and jewelry making?? What tools to get and where? Today I'm sharing a comprehensive list with you, that will tell you exactly what to get and how much it is (as of September 2024)!! I know how hard this first initial stage is in the beginning, when you have to figure out what tools to get, then find them and find the sellers. You're on a budget, don't know which tools are more important then others, what to get first and how much it will all be. I hope that by sharing this I will be able to make things a bit easier.
I know this list is based on US dollars and US market. Unfortunately, I'm one person and time only allowed me to research and gather info in that market, but I will do my best to make a follow up post with lists of tools in other places as much as I can. For now, if you're not in the US, please treat it a resource to find out what you need, how these tools should look like and how much roughly they will be. Prices are quite similar around the world, so this should still give you an idea and an estimate of how much starting metalsmithing would be. I hope you enjoy this video! :)
