OMORI is a video game that offered interesting battle mechanics as well as intriguing settings and characters similar to Earthbound or Undertale. OMORI is also a psychological horror that gave me nightmares multiple times.
In this video, I discuss the gameplay mechanics of OMORI and how they tie to the story and the over all sense of control that OMORI uses against SUNNY and in turn the player character. This can be seen throughout all of HEADSPACE, as well as some portions in the real world.
This video contains spoilers for the game OMORI and it is highly recommended that you play the game yourself to get the full context and experience behind the game. While parts of the video can still be watched regardless of whether or not you've played the game, MAJOR spoilers will be talked about. I'll have timestamps written down so that you can skip those parts if you want.
I also kind of just wanted to talk about this ever since I bought it but had no real way of collecting footage on my own until now. This is definitely one of those videos you just put in the background while you do something else like study.
