How to Adjust Spacing on a Bicycle Frame
Subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/c/BikeItUK
Short Video showing How to adjust and expand the rear triangle of a steel bike frame to allow a newer wheel with wider hub spacing to be fitted. This process is called cold setting and should only be done on a steel frame only. DO NOT try this on the following Bicycle frame materials, Aluminum, Carbon, or titanium. The process involves expanding the rear triangle beyond where you want them to be to achieve the distance required. In this how to video I go through the exact distance I am adjusting to achieve the spacing on the frame that is required.
The video then shows a technique for checking the alignment of the bike frame which is cheap and effective.
