If you run your mini excavator with the tracks too loose, you run the risk of having it come off. This can stretch, tear, or otherwise damage the tracks, resulting in expensive repairs. Fortunately, it is easy to check and adjust the tension of the tracks. This video shows a great way to do it. This particular video demonstrates the procedure on an AGT LH12R mini excavator, but the process may be similar on other mini excavators with the screw style track adjustment. Performing equipment repairs can cause injury or damage and should be done only by qualified persons.
