Scoliosis is often a permanent condition that causes lower back pain, mid back pain and neck pain... but also knee pain or hip pain, as your weight is unbalanced!
However, there's a lot that you can do to fix scoliosis or at least relieve the pain.
The strategy is a 2-fold one, which won't take you more than 4 minutes a day:
- use stretching exercises or muscle relaxation exercises to manage the consequences of the structural scoliosis, i.e. the spinal deviation that you are born with
- fix your postural habits (crossing the legs, locking one knee, leaning on the elbow, etc.) to avoid feeding the scoliosis (i.e. eliminate the functional spine deviation).
These self-treatment and posture correction exercises will take only a few minutes per day, and you will feel better without chiropractor or bone cracking! Avoiding all this joint manipulations will also help preserve your long-term health and avoid joint hyper-mobility.
