In this video I will show you how to bend a four point saddle. This will be a short video but very informative. My obstruction that I an getting over is 8 1/2 inches tall and its 12 1/8 wide. I will show you how to make the bends. First of all to make a 4 point saddle you need to know how wide your obstruction is. Since mine is 12 1/8 wide I could easily just put 2 marks 12 1/8 apart from one another however I moved it on out to 12 1/2. If I would have left it at 12 1/8 everything would have turned out completely fine as well. Next step in the 4 point saddle is to measure how high my obstruction is. In my case it was 8 1/2 inches tall so measuring that I will bend it on a 30 degree bend and 8.5 X 2 = 17 inches between the marks. Since I am not measuring for shrinkage I will not factor this into the equation. Any questions please feel free to ask.
