This video demonstrates the process of perfect binding, also known as Lumbeck binding or double-fan binding. The video is intended for complete beginners and will enable you to bind a collection of single sheets using PVA glue, thus enabling you to bind your own thesis or other documents.
NOTE: It has been pointed out to me that, while I am using the term perfect binding as synonymous with Lumbeck or double-fan binding, in the strict sense it refers to hot-glued binding that is used for commercially bound books. In this strict sense, what I am demonstrating here can be more properly called Lumbeck or double-fan binding.
